Signing up to a Marathon can be a daunting prospect, even if you’ve run one before. The expectation we put on ourselves, dedicating the time to train and knowing how to train for it can put us off even giving the idea a proper go.
But what if you could share the training with an incredible group of women, all with the same goals of wanting to feel confident when taking those first steps over the start line? It’s a no-brainer
How does it work?
Marathon Club begins 16 weeks before your chosen race.
You will get a plan sent to you via a training app, which allows you to sync with Strava. You will see three weeks of training at a time so that you can plan ahead.
Once a week there will be a group session bringing everyone together (usually a Thursday evening). These sessions will help you progress with running and get you closer to your goals.
As you meet others in the groups, you can arrange long runs and plan routes with some or all of the group to keep the momentum going.
Training plan app: video demos of exercises, warm up, cool downs and notifications on upcoming runs.
WhatsApp group: This is where you can ask questions and arrange additional runs with other members of the course.
Chat Group

Structured coach-led session: each week we’ll come together to focus on the tough runs.
Coach check-in with Lynette: Some training plan adjustments, should you need it and a cheerleader to keep you motivated throughout.

Your questions, answered
This course is for anyone looking to take on their first marathon or who may have done a marathon in the past but is looking for a structured plan and community to train with.
You will start your plan 16 weeks before your chosen marathon but all of the Thursday sessions will be wth the rest of the group regardless of at what point in the training you are at.
If you would like a longer training plan than planned to allow for a longer build-up in training, then please request and this can be arranged.
Group sessions are not compulsory, therefore if you prefer not to do, or can’t attend, some or all of them, there is no refund or discount as compensation.
Payments are taken as Direct Debit each month.
If you become injured, ill or can no longer train for the upcoming race, your place can be carried over to the next block of training, when it starts.
Sign up will open later this year in preparation for the spring 2024 marathon season.
